Today is the last day of our show at Staffordshire University! Don't worry if you didn't catch us at the Degree Show, we're packing all our work away tomorrow ready to take down to New Designers next week. You can catch us there at stand T58 From Thursday the 28th to Saturday the 30th, or if your lucky enough to make the awards evening on wednesday the 27th. Central St Martins design competition for Liberty's London. What a great opportunity for all the 2nd year students at St.Martins! The winners (below) will have their work feature in Liberty's next Art Fabric collection for SS14. Well done!! Gorgeous central piece at Liberty's atrium.

Here's some samples from my recent fashion project 'Utopia'. This project focuses on the beauty of natural pattern captured on fabric. I used my own photos exposed onto screens and printed with acid dyes onto silk. I also used discharge and foils. My final pieces can be seen at Staffordshire Universities 'show and tell' in the Henrion building starting Friday 15th. Also I'm exhibiting my work at New Designers, London from Thurday 28th-30Th June......

My blog has been totally neglected over the past weeks due to being so busy finishing my final major projects at uni. The good news is here's a sneak preview of the work ive been doing before my opening night of my Degree Show tomorrow!! :) My show is at Staffordshire University, Stoke-on-Trent, college road campus, starting from Friday 15th June and is on for a week. Open to all!!! So here's some of my work......... This is my children's wallpaper project 'what dreams are made of'. It explores children's imagination and curiosity's. The colour scheme that I chose consists of moody hues an sweet pastels. The wallpaper is all hand screen printed using emulsion and pigment. Heres some of the stages of the design and printing....
